What's this I hear about a competition?

You heard right, we're having a friendly competition to identify a photographer who could be one of our freelance photographers. And the prize you heard about is correct, the competitions have a $100 award, the winner is chosen by us based upon originality and creativity. Remember, only one award of $100 per competition.

How many people are invited into the competition?

The number of entrants varies based upon how many photographers reply and the number of "props" (i.e., chocolate products from the store) we have reserved for a particular competition.

How do I get in on the competition?

Use the form, above, for notifications. You may also hear about the competitions directly on your campus or advertised locally. Remember there are a limited number of props, stay in touch early to have a better chance of getting in.

When do I get the $100 and can I put it on my cv?

The $100 is mailed within 24 hours of selecting a photograph we like. And yes, of course you can use it on your cv, just be truthful that it was a competition and that your pic was on the cover of the gaspare.com site and you received a $100 license fee.

Can I eat the chocolate after I photograph it?

Not only can you eat the chocolate (some of the chocolate has nuts so be careful if you have allergies) you can photograph yourself eating the chocolate. Or use a model. Or eat the chocolate together while you make the pic. Ah, perhaps we need to do video competition too, stay tuned for announcements.
