Satisfaction

What to expect
Great chocolate is about passion, ingredients, taste and mouthfeel, when these are aligned just right expect a full-body experience from head to toe. Get that big tingle, that feeling when you're feeling as light as air and your skin is like electrified silk. Small batch artisanal chocolate crafting is an art, or pretty close to an art if you want to think first about the science of how the crystals align during tempering and issues related to the proportions of ingredients. We aim to please at every turn, every handcrafted item is carefully produced under the most exacting conditions, packed carefully for shipping and handed off to the couriers with labels indicating that when you receive your order you should keep it in a chill environment if you are not going to eat it immediately upon receipt as many of us do.
The chocolate you buy here in Chocoville is from amazing chocolatiers, they are acutely aware of ingredient quality as well as everything that goes into preparing and forming the ingredients into delightful little magical bites. Since the chocolate we sell chocolate is produced in small batches nothing is ever old, it's all fresh goodies and treats. When we run out of something we schedule to make more usually however from time to time we do run out of some of the goodies. Like the Geek Muffins, these are way too popular.
Everything we do in the shipping area revolves around getting your chocolate to you as fresh and safe as possible. What this means is we pack very carefully, encourage you to use overnight or 2nd day delivery and do not ship when it would put your chocolate at wish of sitting over the weekend with the courier (usually UPS). So, 2nd day shipments do not go out on Thursdays unless you specifically request it. If you have any other suggestions about shipping that can improve our service kindly drop me a note, it helps every one of our artisanal chocolate lovers by helping make us better shippers.
What not to expect
If you ever receive something from Chocoville that is not fresh we want to hear about it directly from you, use the contact form here on the website and tell us what you think. If it's something we did wrong we will of course make it right.
During the summer months and when the temperature outside is warm to hot you will want to order for overnight delivery with a cooler-pack to keep your chocolate from getting un-cool. We're very temperature-conscious around here, you are probably too if you like chocolate. If you order during warm / hot weather and do so without specifying overnight delivery and a cooler-pack you are taking a risk, we respectfully suggest that consider this as we can not be responsible for chocolate that melts en route during the warm weather.
Damages in transit
Here's something that helps everyone, if the exterior of the parcel the courier (i.e., UPS) hands you appears damaged you should indicate to that courier that you do not accept boxes damaged in transit, these sorts of things happen from time to time and UPS is responsible for boxes damaged in transit. If you like, we may be able to help but you are the best person to watch out for parcels damaged in transit. Let us know if you accept a damaged parcel, we're always trying to improve things and maybe a word from us to the courier can help.
Your happiness matters, it matter big time
Seriously, the team here that packs and ships are all chocolate lovers and very interested in your satisfaction. Management is too, tell us directly if there's ever a problem. Without your satisfaction we would not sleep well, our business depends on fresh and delicious fun chocolate and your happiness.
If there's anything you would like to discuss, again, please always feel free to contact us using the form here on the website, that's why the form is there -we want to improve wherever we can and listening to you is the best way to do it!
